Vending Considerations
“Clean, Filled and Working”
CLEAN EQUIPMENT
- A clean operation starts with a modern well-organized warehouse, food production facility (kitchen and commissary) and moves by truck to each vending location and machine.
- Our fleet of service vans are white and are easily identified by our company logo. All vehicles are routinely washed to maintain the clean appearance we strive to project. The responsibility for the cleanliness of each vehicle is the responsibility of the individual route driver.
- Our kitchen and production commissary are constructed with ceramic tile and are sanitized daily. We continuously upgrade the equipment we use and employ the most modern equipment to allow the creation of uniform sandwiches, dinners, salads and desserts.
FILLED EQUIPMENT
- As the largest independent food service provider in Connecticut and western Massachusetts, we are able to purchase the greatest variety of snacks, candies and pastries. In turn we can offer our customers the widest variety available. A sample of each product is displayed in our warehouse for our route personnel to select from. All merchandise that we receive in from our various suppliers is dated upon receipt and all stock is rotated to ensure freshness.
WORKING EQUIPMENT
- Bell Food Services has an organized maintenance department; complete with all the necessary parts to keep our machines working in the time it would take to drive to a client's location. Our maintenance vehicles are designed and built to provide a mobile, parts department for each of our service technicians. For quick response, we operate with a two-way radio system installed in each vehicle.
- Each mechanic is assigned a territory to operate in, which is your assurance that there is always a mechanic nearby to fix any problems that might arise.
- All service calls are monitored, and followed up to ensure the working state of our machines. The service log is regularly examined by our Director of Service and Maintenance to ensure that machines are fixed properly and limit repeated service calls on the same machine.
