Cafeteria Menu Design
The creation of a successful menu requires an understanding of contemporary principles that reflect current trends and lifestyles. We have a keen understanding of the diverse needs of our customers, from those employees that require high protein/low fat choices, to varied dietary requirements present, including vegetarians, vegans, and all other health related needs.
- The trend in recent years focuses on healthier eating habits, “grazing”; eating lightly several times during the day, and a more focused request for nationally branded products. We at Bell Food Services respond continually by reviewing and modifying our offerings. We continue to offer nutritious, flavorful, and attractive choices, while answering the public’s concerns about diet and health.
- In many cases, we have reduced our use of salt, sugar, and butter, while choosing to utilize herbs and spices to create interesting new flavor profiles. We also continue to create home-style desserts flavored with honey, bananas, dried fruits, juice concentrates and spices. The response to these changes has been very positive.
- BELL FOOD SERVICES’ Senior Management Support Staff have completed nutritional training courses and we stay committed by continually providing nutritional education for all Management, Chefs, and Cooks. Complete nutritional information briefs for the majority of our offerings are posted. In addition, nutritional briefs are printed for customers to take for later review.
